In order to test this hypothesis, I went to a
website called WeatherSpark, and got screen
captures of the average annual weather for these
locations.
Trondheim, Norway
Ottawa, Ontario
Dusseldorf, Germany
Austin, Texas
Data from Weatherspark.com website
I then used the WebPlotDigitizer again, and
extracted the data for the average high and
low temperatures from the graphs.
With this data now in Excel, I then integrated
the areas under the curves (using 0℉ as a
baseline) to get average annual degree days to
compare to the spread in the different
expansions.
